WHAT IS MISSION EDUCATION?
All underlined words are active links to click.
Mission education is an exciting way to learn about various ministries around the world. It is a way we can be a part of our missionaries' victories and learn about their needs. How can we pray if we do not know what the needs are? When we become knowledgeable about missions, our desire and sense of responsibility for missions is enhanced.
Click this link for the 2010-11 mission education credit goals for College Church. We will reach this goal only through the efforts of all of our Adult Bible Study Fellowship Classes and the participation of our College Age, Teens and Children. Each class is given its own goal of Education Credits to strive for.
Ways to Reach the Education Goal for your Class:
Each tape/CD listened to or each book read counts as one (1) education credit toward the goal.
Regular reading of Holiness Today, for the year constitutes one (1) education credit. Click Here
Each person who participates in a local work & witness project that is sponsored by your Adult Bible Study Fellowship Class counts as one (1) education credit.

Become acquainted with some of the current and future Nazarene leaders from Africa. They are people full of passion and integrity, courage and persistence. And they are your brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Tower of Babel Was a Bad Idea:
The Joy and Agony of Second-language Learning
by Amy Crofford
The process of learning another language is long and hard, and missionaries often become discouraged. After an exceptionally difficult day at language school, one new missionary quipped: “Whoever thought of the Tower of Babel should have been shot on the spot!”
Between the pages of this book lie heartfelt and humble stories of people who have obeyed the call of God to journey to a new land and minister in a new language. May their words—and their obedience—inspire and encourage your heart.
