WHAT IS FAITH PROMISE?
The Church of the Nazarene acknowledges that Faith Promise giving is a biblical method used by many local churches for raising financial support for world evangelization. For our denomination, it is dedicated specifically to the mission support of the Church of the Nazarene through various offerings promoted by Nazarene Missions International (NMI).
World Evangelism Fund $289,000
Lifeline of World Evangelism in the Church of the Nazarene International. This fund supports missionaries, supplies operational expenses for hospitals, clinics, dispensaries, Bible Colleges and Seminaries.
Hunger Relief $10,000
Support for alleviating hunger around the world with funds distributed through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.
Sierra Leone, Africa $10,000
Support for bringing the churches of this African country into the denomination as they establish themselves in local villages. First Missionaries: Rev. Paul & Sharon Martin of College Church.
Mission Partnerships: Work & Witness $40,000
Work & Witness is a grass roots program of the Church of the Nazarene enabling teams to go to every region of the world and partner with local churches in construction projects, technical needs, evangelism and compassionate ministries. College Church is exploring some of these opportunities.
Mission Corps Volunteer Missionary Service $3,000
As the Church of the Nazarene reaches out around the world; our missionaries are being challenged to be able to meet the many needs that exist. Volunteers are responding from every age group and career background with a variety of skills, gifts and talents to help meet some of those needs.
JESUS FILM Teams $30,000
College Church sponsors two teams in an Creative Access area and in Bangladesh using the Jesus Video and the Evangicube to present the Gospel in established churches or helping plant new churches.
World Mission Broadcast $2,000
WMB takes the Gospel to the world through radio, television and internet programs. On the air since 1951, WMB reaches even the remotest parts of the world, with words of hope and holiness, and lives are changed.
World Mission Literature: $2,000
